Important birthdays!

Today was my dear sister's birthday!
As usual I forgot to wish her in the morning ,when i got up i found her having breakfast already [her rule is early to bed early to rise;) ] . i wish to follow her but i just can't sleep early :(

my father who was sitting in the next room asked me if i had wished her and then i went and gave her a big bear hug!
and her present!
'Larousse Gastronomique' ...she had been hinting at it for one year now!
she was absolutely delighted !

she didnt mind that i had forgotton her bday. she knows i have this major problem of forgetting bdays. actually i had even set reminder alarms on both the cells, but i woke up before the alarm went on....

it was she who reminded me then of H's birthday . i wished him too then.

Both of them are born on quite an important day...30th April. it is the day Hitler died!
i occasionally tease them that they are both Hitler's reincarnation... born to torture me ;)

sometimes i wonder whats the connection between me and taureans! all of the people who are my close friends are taureans!!!

my sis , Pal and H...all three of them!

its like if i am not with one taurean i am with another...
well atleast till now!
and i dont ever wish to be without them !
i dont mind being tortured one wee bit...hee hee!

Happy Birthday U guys

Cheers!
Anu

Does Day Dreaming help?

Do you day dream?
does dreaming help in anyway?
is it good or a waste of time?
do you ever day dream consciously ?
what are the things you like to day dream about?
is there anyone who never ever day dreams?

Chernobyl Disaster ! We better not forget it !

Chernobyl is a word we would all like to erase from our memory. It [opened] a Pandora's box of invisible enemies and nameless anxieties in people's minds, but which most of us probably now think of as safely relegated to the past. Yet there are two compelling reasons why this tragedy must not be forgotten... First, if we forget Chernobyl, we increase the risk of more such technological and environmental disasters in the future. Second, more than seven million of our fellow human beings do not have the luxury of forgetting. They are still suffering, every day, as a result of what happened 14 years ago. Indeed, the legacy of Chernobyl will be with us, and with our descendants, for generations to come."

- Kofi Annan, United Nations Secretary General

To Pal and H,

My best friends !
